Not even an hour after I panicked had a heart-to-heart with the Universe, I received an e-mail from an acquaintance of ours (a real estate agent) suggesting a POSSIBLE house for us right down the road. Did I ever tell you I LOVE the road that we live on? Gratitude baby, gratitude!
I looked at the pictures in the email and my heart jumped with joy! YES Universe! This is what I mean! A clean, fresh house with lots of white and pretty wooden floors.
Did you notice? Ask and you shall receive! After all, I threatened asked The Universe for a hint of confirmation that all will be well, and there you have it: some hope, some promise! Right there in my email box! Less than an hour later!
But don't get too excited just yet, Jessica Hall! (actually, I should! Excitement is one of the most powerful emotions for visualzing, it will get you closer to your goals faster!).
Obviously it's not a done deal yet, by a far stretch. The owners of the house have not decided on renting their home (which is for sale), let alone rent it to our family. And even though we drove by there about 20 times this weekend, we haven't even seen it from the inside yet. Except for on the pictures.
I need to visualize us moving into that home, us living there, us being happy there.
All this happened Friday. Now it's Monday morning. And after compulsively checking my emails every 5 minutes... still no news. Normally I would be nervous by now. "We didn't hear from them, that's bad news right?". "What if we won't get it?". My head would take over and before long I would just KNOW we're all going to end up sleeping in our car, having to shower at friends' houses.
People! This is not how you get what you want! Stop it! I KNOW. I might actually end up sleeping in that car, if I don't stop joking about it.
All I can do for now is wait patiently, have good faith and send happy vibrations out! Oh, and just in case, I also...
- ... collected all the pictures from the house and made it a slide show for my screen saver.
(so whenever I'm not using my computer for more then 5 minutes, the pictures start floating by on my screen so I can visualize some more) - ... set the most favorite picture as a desktop background on my laptop.
- ... told my husband to do the same thing at work (although I doubt he did)
- ... send the pictures to my mother and sister and asked them to imagine (strongly) how they would come visit me in this house soon!
Let's see if it's enough. Any other suggestions?
