Did you know its "Holi" today .. an Indian festival celebrating spring where people throw colored powder/paint and water all over each other - just for the heck of it! see all about it on

I know it doesn't look much like spring out there today, but what fun it would be to run around throwing paint at a bunch of people ... an idea for next years birthday perhaps!?!

Thank you guys! Skinny Water will have to do it today. I mean... Lexi... treat yourself with a laptop or $300 boots? Not today honey, not today. Did anybody tell you it's a recession out there?

I guess I was a little disappointed that most of my emails today were offers of new mortgage, online college and viagra. Most friends don't even bother coming here... but than again, isn't it like the wedding and the birthday party? I don't really believe I invited them. Some of them know, just don't have 3 minutes to read because Facebook takes all spare time up these days, right.

I'm off to have a latte at the Starbucks now, me and my diary! Reflecting. It's a great gloomy day to go with my mood. Evan ran out of the house without congratulating me, Imani forgot to make me a drawing and Norman doesn't know that blowing up a few balloons doesn't cost anything but a few gallons of breath.

Yeah, I think it's safe to say I made the right choice to just let the day be normal. And did they ever take me serious: as normal, they left me a sink full of dishes and at 8.15 I was doing another load of laundry. Like a real birthday princess should!

Hee jess, van harte meis! Ook al ben je niet in the birthday mood, hoop ik toch dat je een fijne dag hebt!
Enne.. je bent niet de enige die niet van eigen verjaardagen houdt hoor. Ik voel me al jaren schuldig dat ik steeds mijn verjaardag niet vier. Gewoon geen zin in. En heb me voorgenomen me voortaan ook niet meer schuldig te voelen als ik besluit het niet te vieren. Het is tenslotte jouw verjaardag en jij mag beslissen hoe je die viert.. of niet..

Funk can go "funk" herself! If you want to be alone then I respect that but if "she's" going with you to Starbucks tomorrow, then so am I!!!!

Try to give yourself a treat off-island....Frye boots perhaps or a new lap top (?!) or even just an iced double mocha!
